To assure the highest quality, Valdo worked with the leading raw material manufacturers to produce a bottle with impressive impact resistance. In addition, this procedure produces a surface smoother than other similar products. This smoother surface gives the bottle an impressive resistance. In addition, this procedure produces a transparency unparalleled to other resins. The flexibility reduces breakage and resists scuffing. In a side by side comparison, you will see the difference.
These qualities eliminate most concerns. Tests, performed in independent laboratories and in real life, have shown that in normal use, PET bottles exhibit scuffing comparable to polycarbonate bottles.

For impact resistance, we invite you to make an objective comparison. Fill a polycarbonate and Valdo PET bottle with water. Drop them both from a top rack height of seven feet and repeat until breakage occurs. This is similar to actual quality tests performed at our facilities. You will be impressed with the results.
The same approach can be used for scuffing. Fill a bottle to the top with water, load it into your truck and start pushing and pulling it out until you are satisfied with the number of cycles you normally work with a bottle. After this, inspect both bottles to find out the damage. The results will surprise you.

Valdo's PET Water Bottles have a patent pending handle design that allows them to be easily and thoroughly washed. The recommended washing temperature is only 58 C (138 F) unlike polycarbonate bottle that require higher temperatures incurring additional energy costs. NSF Standards indicate that washing water bottles at very high temperatures in not required.
Recommendations
- Do not expose bottles to temperatures of 65 C (150 F) or higher for extended periods of time.
- Do not store bottles in direct sunlight.
- Do not let bottles come into direct contact with direct heat sources.
